Regent is a popular grape within Germany, accounting for 2% of all wine production, yet relatively unheard of outside the country. Full-bodied, almost Mediterranean, with aromas of currants. This Regent from Sans-Lorch is fruity, has low acidity and a velvety mouthfeel, and stands up to foods with intense flavours. Try it with lamb, game, or dishes with rich sauces.
